Tag a friend who might enjoy this Milky Way image and journey! --- From Brandon about this image: --- This was my first attempt at shooting the Milky Way. There's a famous barn about an hour outside of College Station, Texas (home to Texas A&M University) that I've been meaning to visit for several months. After some research, I found that the Milky Way is pretty perfectly placed for a good shot. --- With special permission from the owners, I got out to the barn on Friday evening and spent about an hour shooting the barn with many different exposures, thinking I'd have to do some stacking. --- Turns out, though, that because the barn is fairly close to a highway (and lots of folks were driving in for the opening football game), the light from traffic was enough to paint the barn. --- So this is a single shot. Nikon D7200 with a Tokina 11-20mm f/2.8 lens.
