So I'm not black but I'm most certainly not white, I'm a tanned skin Puerto Rican, I'ma caramelized cutie and sometimes I have trouble writing and reading stories were it's like pale skin this or porcelain skin that like honey ...baby...my dear I'm caramelized, I'm sun kissed, I'm coffee with a dash of cream , butterscotch if you will 😋 lol
But I also get shy writing stories were the reader is my shade/complexion like how do I tag that or do I skip it. 🤔 Some might say it's unnecessary but I most certainly deem it important. Like no my blorbo can't run their fingers through my wavy ass hair or when it took me almost 2 hours to get it pin straight like no my eyes don't look like the ocean instead it's like staring into chocolate with a dash of fire for the orange that sparkles in it. Burning fire when you look at them in the light, skin that damn near sparkles in the summertime as I only get darker and darker. Orange, teal and green making me shine like a glow stick from the complete contrast. White nail polish only making me look darker and juicer😍🥰
But like how can I write that and make it inclusive or are there others like me 💖💓💓💖??
