Pyrrha didn't sleep much these days.  And when she DID manage to sleep, she tended to wake up at the smallest sound.  So when she realized that Ruby was still up on her watch, she got out of her bedroll and went over to sit down next to the other girl.  The redhead hugged her knees to her chest, turning to offer Ruby a soft smile.  

"I thought you could use someone to talk to," she murmured, reaching out to put a gloved hand over Ruby's, giving a soft squeeze before pulling back.  "And if you don't want to talk, we can just sit," Pyrrha added.  Sometimes, just being near someone that cared about you was enough.  But she wanted to make sure that Ruby knew she COULD talk.......if she wanted to.

North is literally the sweetest and most welcoming person I've met in this fandom, holy heck. She won't hesitate to share her thoughts about characters and their interactions with you, and I absolutely adore it. Her Ruby is practical perfection -- a balance between her zany antics and her softer, sadder side that is difficult to maintain -- and I love all of her other blogs, as well. I count her as one of my Tumblr friends and I am very glad to have met her. uwu

"I am getting REALLY tired of seeing you everywhere I'm trying to pull an OPERATION, Little Red," Roman said with a frown.  His tone was pleasant enough, but his expression was anything but.  This CHILD had somehow managed to thwart several of his heists, and he was becoming quite frustrated.  

Hiring Junior's goons wasn't going to cut it anymore; he needed some better minions, minions befitting his stature as one of the foremost crime bosses in Beacon.  Unfortunately, that would have to wait; right now, he had an annoyance to deal with.  

Flipping Melodic Cudgel up, he took aim at a spot to the girl's right (his left), hoping he'd manage to drive her in the direction he wanted.  It would be much easier to deal with her if he could get her into a better position, tactically.

qrow puts his arms around the girl and gives her shoulders a good old affectionate uncle pat-pat. he will be there to protect her from the world for as long as he can, even as she grows more and more capable of doing it on her own by the day. sometimes there were things that just had to be overcome together.

"there, there, kiddo. it'll all blow over soon."

if not on it's own, then he'll make sure of it.
