This photo is from back in February, 2014 when we first purchased our custom built touring tandem bicycle from it’s previous owner/creator John Cutter. Originally we had planned on doing our tour on individual touring bikes, but we couldn’t pass up the chance to do it on a tandem instead. We are so extremely grateful for the opportunity to be the owners of this amazing bicycle built for two. Thanks John!
According to OregonManifest.com, John Cutter “is a self-taught bike builder from San Luis Obispo, California, who has worked as a designer and builder of packs, tents and bicycles since 1978. In that time he has worked for multiple companies in the outdoor and bicycle industry. Another thing he may share with his peers in the one-man-shop approach to bike building: He knows exactly how many bikes he’s built. So far, it’s 249.”
