Gabe is a bi musician taking a gap year, wanting some time to chill because he doesn’t really know what to do with his life. He’s grown up knowing about the supernatural because his mother figure (Rhea) is a vampire.Gabe discovers he is a werecoyote when he was about 16 (totally stealing some mythology from teen wolf lol). Gabe becomes a mentor/friend/anchor for Tyler during his first werewolf transformations. Gabe shifts into a coyote and keeps an eye on wolf Tyler, teaching him control. Gabe is just a sweetheart who just wants to help and always gives so much of himself and falls in love so easily. He takes one look at Hayley Marshall and is doomed.

“You’re overreacting,” Ariana said loudly in an attempt to drown out Hailey’s huffing from the bathroom.
Hailey gasped, dramatic and unnecessary, as she stormed out of the bathroom and back into her bedroom to glare at Ariana. “Overreacting? Are you kidding me?” she asked, pointing towards her abdomen where the scar was already mostly healed over. “You stabbed me!”
“You scared me,” Ariana retorted with a shrug. She’d been sitting on Hailey’s bed for the last half an hour listening to Hailey moaning and complaining as she cleaned up the blood from the wound Ariana had accidentally created.
Ariana felt bad obviously, but it wasn’t like she was entirely at fault. She’d been on edge all night, waiting for the Dread Doctors to pop up out of thin air, waiting for someone to appear in the dark with bad intentions. Of course she was going to lash out if someone suddenly appeared, which was exactly what Hailey had done.
“Well a scream would have been sufficient. The the stabbing was unnecessary,” Hailey said, frowning as she moved to stand in front of her mirror, examining the scar. “I was just trying to be back-up, God forbid I actually help you for once. Also, how could you mistake me for a Dread Doctor?”
“Maybe if you washed your hair I wouldn’t have,” Ariana said, wrinkling her nose in mock-disgust as she tilted her head slightly. When Hailey turned back to throw another glare, she stifled down a snort. “Sorry, kidding,” Ariana said quickly. “I panicked, okay?”
“Yeah but why?” Hailey asked, crossing the room to slump onto the bed, flopping down to lie down beside Ariana. “You’re a druid, you’ve already got abilities. Again, another reason why the dagger was not necessary,” she added, narrowing her eyes.
“Maybe I didn’t want to rely on powers I can’t even control right now,” Ariana said without fully thinking. As soon as she spoke, she winced, waiting for Hailey’s reaction, waiting for her to dismiss Ariana just like everyone else did these days.
But Hailey had fallen quiet for a moment, frowning as she studied Ariana. Finally Hailey sighed, closing her eyes as she rested her head back on the pillows underneath her. “Fine, just next time don’t stab me in the abs. Maybe get some mace instead,” she said casually.
This time Ariana did let out a snort, closing her eyes too. “Deal.”

17. What senses (sights, smells, feelings, etc). remind them of each other?
Audrey smells woods, alcohol, bar soap and fresh linen and thinks of him. She’s reminded of him when she sees wolves (obviously), sports memorabilia for the teams he likes, and red solo cups (because of all of the parties they’d both show up to)
Tyler thinks of her when he smells hints of floral (daisies, sunflowers, etc.), baked goods — chocolate chip and sugar cookies specifically, since they’re her favorite to bake, and apples (her shampoo). He sees knives (once she becomes a hunter as they’re her favorite weapon), sunflowers (her favorite), and anything dark red or purple (her favorite colors) and thinks of her.
18. What would be their love motto?
I’m not really sure how to answer this one? But a quote that fits them is “In a fight, they’re lethal, around each other, they melt.”
19. If they could each write a single line in their marriage vows, what would they be?
Audrey’s would be “I’ll always be around to show you just how much I love you, and also to call you out when you’re being too full of yourself.
Tyler’s would be “You’ve drove me crazy in every way possible from day one. All that I could ever want is to have you drive me crazy for the rest of our lives.
20. What is a promise they have made to each other?
Tyler has promised that she would never be second best to him, Audrey has promised to always call him out when he’s being unreasonable, or in her words, an ass.
21. How have they changed each other for the better/for the worse?
Tyler has changed Audrey in the way that she’s become tougher and to let loose and have fun, despite all of the stuff that goes on in town. Audrey changed Tyler in the way that she taught him how to properly love and be loved in return, and that softness isn’t always weakness like his dad taught him.
22. If their lives were what was originally intended at birth, would they have still fallen in love?
I think so, yes. When they spend more and more time together, they have a draw to each other, so I think that would be there regardless of other things that have happened with them.

Long days seemed to come one after another lately, and allthat Audrey wanted was to just take a breath. She wanted just a few moments ofrest in their crazy, hectic life. The one thing that she took solace in was thefact that she could go to Tyler, no hesitation and no questions asked, anddespite all that the two of them were going through, they’d be there for eachother.
As she walked into the Lockwood house, it was quiet, seeminglyempty. Without a word and not bothering to call out for him, she took thestairs to his bedroom, only slightly surprised when she saw that he wasn’t there.
Instead of calling or texting him to find out where he was,she simply slipped her shoes off and moved to his bed, curling up in his usualspot and pulling the covers over herself. Her eyes closed as she inhaled hisscent, allowing it to comfort and relax her.
She wasn’t sure how long that she laid there before hearingthe door to his bedroom open. Without turning to look, she knew that it washim.
Tyler let out a surprised, yet pleased hum at returning tohis room to see her in his bed, and wordlessly, he moved in beside her.Slipping beneath the covers, he laid on his back, waiting patiently in the fewmoments that it took for her to turn over.
Once he’d gotten settled, she turned toward him, resting herhead against his chest and draping her arm over his body. His arm moved aroundher shoulders to keep her close to him as his other hand moved beneath herchin, tipping it up and allowing their eyes to meet.
She leaned in then, pressing a soft kiss to his lips, andwith the small smile that formed for each of them, they knew they’d make it through.

Audrey had to forgive him for leaving town when Klaus threatened him. Tyler had to forgive Audrey not always trusting him, especially when he was under control of the sire bond.
