Sorry it's been a while since I've written a post, but never fear, I'm still here! This one's a continuation of the story of the Taneali. By the way, still continuing the search for a publisher/agent- hopefully soon. I've finally been able to start back writing, this time a short story, so we'll see how that goes. We now approach 30,000 years before Gudele/Tigóa Viul and see a massive change in the status of the world as a whole. At this stage, the Senatu Telie came into being and evil spread out across the lands, plaguing every faction in the whole of Orastim. The bizarre origin of the Senatu Telie in this period has often been attributed to an evil within people possibly in those somewhere near the location of the Senatu Telie, but this information is all speculation. The Kilamaas sent many Tanealians to assist other factions in the fight against evil. This included their specialised Rae knights, ennobled priests and priestesses, empowered warriors and well-equipped sorcerers. In response to the onslaught of laelitu streaming out of the Senatu Telie, the Taneali and others in Southern Endrez assisted the Zakri in amounting a massive and powerful magic protection at the Zakri border with the Senatu Telie, erecting huge towers to provide the needed magical protection to keep the laelitu at bay. Meanwhile, the Wall of Dondo was constructed as well at the Noffian border using the newest of stone techniques of the day. By keeping the laelitu at bay in both of these locations and cleaning up the remaining laelitu with powerful magic, the world of Orastim struck a deal between good and evil, allowing both to prosper in the one world. Being the first major war in Orastim’s history, this war has been detailed by many different factions, including the Taneali who remark about the struggle against the laelitu and the incredible amount of powerful magic required to kill even a single laelitu. This war is guessed at lasting as long as 3,000 years- an incredibly long time for a single war indeed. [five-star-rating] [poll id="3"]
