Coda is beautiful, but in light of death note's ending, it flows with tragic subtext. I wanted to capture the sensation of bittersweet endings by incorporating curtain calls, final bows, funeral flowers, and sunsets. Light performs his final act, the velvet curtain lowers to divide story from reality, but the surreal enchantment persists. Even now, I still feel haunted.
