The royal son of Corona pt. 2 - ??

Arianna felt guilty. That was the jist of what she was feeling. Guilty she would try to find rapunzel without even looking like she cared for Varian, which she did. Just hearing his name gave her a bliss for the second it took. And when she found the perfect gift, she was ecstatic to give it to the boy.

She assumed he would be able to read at the age he was, but if not, it was an order to give these books too him once he was older. And when she saw the young prince.. She almost cried. He was her son, she should have just taken him back then and there. But alas, she did not.

Quirin and the four year old prince walked into the throne room, having completely different reactions. Quirin's was more strict, as if he was telling the child there was nothing for him to be excited about, while the child was looking around amazed. But when he saw the figures of royalty, he bowed, like he was taught. Arianna smiled as her husband simply grunted in respect. Arianna sighed and went over to the child. She was almost.. Inspecting him.

The boy just smiled at her, finding her very pretty. Like the other children in corona. Arianna smiled and ruffled the boys hair. When she noticed the rubber gloves she hesitantly reached to pull them off, and Varian pulled his hands back in panic. The queen nodded and looked behind her, signalling the guard to bring the books over. "I have something for you, Varian." she whispered to him, causing the boys face to light up. "You do?!" he whispered back, giggling. She nodded and took the box of books from her guard, handing him the first one. "The.. Talls of.. Flynn again rider?" the boy read, completely butchering the name. Arianna smiled and read the name out loud for him after that.

After the two boys left Arianna was on the brink of tears, seeing as how her son was now fully interested in the books as she read the first page to him. And now he was leaving to read on his own. She looked at her husband, who sighed at the sight in front of him. "Do not worry, dear.. Im sure we'll find rapunzel, and we can visit the boy everyday... Or we can let Quirin and Varian stay here with us, what do you say?" he said calmly to her, holding her close. "Okay, dear.." Arianna replied, still thinking of the boys wide smile.
