Cassandra there is no escaping the gay
(from x)
Oh transitionnn
Really just yearning to be chasing after Cassandra in happier contexts
I like how by this transition we get the sun and moon together in a sense, since these are flashbacks when Rapunzel and Cassandra were united
No comments just happy gay mischief
(from x)
Silly Rapunzel, we’re only 35 seconds in, this is way too early for Cassandra to reach back out to ya
“I am not a vessel for your good intent” — flippin YES this is a Cassandra/Rapunzel song
C: try and get close to me NOW
Dramatic clash, and it is satisfying to me how the shadow and sword are parallel lines
Rapunzel,
Cassandra,
Ah yes, the first moment the gay skyrockets, Rapunzel you hopeless sapphic,
also the TENSION as Rapunzel is magnetically pulled in, I’m gay, I’m pretty sure this isn’t allowed, too powerful,
I fully accept this alternate take where moonstone Cassandra is no longer hiding being gay and is in fact delighting in getting a bit of revenge on Rapunzel here
Always that distance between them
(from x)
Moonstone: I sense her I sense my wife
C: stop it we are not gay I am not in love with Rapunzel shut up shut up
MS: oh I’m sorry I thought we were done repressing stuff: memories, anger, all your gay feelings,
C: you are nOT HELPING
Enough with the dumb dialogue, Cassandra is instead all, I won’t let you take the moonstone from me, it’s all I have, I’m not turning back,
But there she is ALSO hiding away HER HEART she can’t let Rapunzel in she can’t,
Sundrop: wait oh wait it’s my wife! I haven’t seen her in SO LONG
R with her wistful smile: I can relate

together after it all
(from x)
Awwww 😢😢😢😢
Ughhh first the dramatic spin setting up their conflict, then the happy spin from Freebird when they were so happy and free together ughhhhhhhh
Not fairrrrrrrrr
Rude transition
Time for some important angsty brooding
(from x)
As someone who paid too much attention to figuring out what all sides of Cassandra’s room looked like, I am pleased by all the details in this bit
important
It’s not a Rapunzel pining for Cassandra scene if she isn’t sitting on her bed fixated on the dress as a symbol of happier times that she feels she has lost (while she remains oblivious to the fact that Cassandra would Hate to go back to being a lady-in-waiting)
So yes “Abandon all your stupid dreams about the girl I could have been” is flippin perfect here
I am here for Cassandra not actually being able to bring herself to shatter it
The contrast between the two expressions is hilarious to me
yoink
C: uh oh if I’m not the big bad villain I’m no longer able to make sure Rapunzel doesn’t actually get hurt
