One thing I like about this anime is how smoothly it incorporates the insecurities of teenage love in a breezy manner, and how the adults don't usually see those insecurities as anything serious...I loved how Suzuki was over her head, fidgeting and panicking about meeting Tani's family and thought she embarrassed herself through a series of minor mishaps and all his family did was accept her and encouraged her to be herself, despite coming off as more traditional than Suzuki's parents...And I loved the scene where Suzuki cried from overwhelmed–ness, like even if adults didn't mind, these were huge things to carry for a teenage girl! I like how this romcom touches upon these aspects without giving the themes a more adult-like tone but also not undermining the teenage part...
