Super Duper Quick Bio (Main Verse): Since the day was she taken from her family when she was 10, all Tanis has known is a life of crime. While she was on a trip with her mother and father in China, in a busy shopping center a man took little Tanis in a crowded shopping area to be sold into human trafficking. Her mother and father would never see her again.
The man who took her saw something in her when, after being kept and “groomed” in a group home for 6 months, young Tanis fought her “Play Date”. The 10 year old knocked the pervert out cold. Since the session was being watched and video taped, the man running the operation couldn’t help but see a fire in Tanis. He pulled her out of the group home immediately and worked closely with her and an training facility where they took young children and trained them to be weapons. She was cross trained in martial arts and weaponry. She even attended a strict school to not only educate the children, but to make them better at blending in and lying.
When she was 15, she worked under the name Jade to help gather information on a very influential and rich Chinese man so her boss, referred to as Father, could extort him. This was her first test and she exceeded at it. From then on, Tanis worked various crime-related jobs.
Essentially, she’s like Black Widow!
Does she enjoy her new life? To a certain degree, yes, but she longs for normalcy. Under her hard exterior is a small piece of the girl she used to be.
Alternate Verse: She’s a witch who, after her large, peaceful coven was attacked, raped, and brutally killed, Tanis managed to barely escape. She went into hiding for a while. Realizing it’s killed or be killed out there, for a few years she started working for whichever supernaturals needed something from a witch. She didn’t care if it hurt people or not. All she was concerned with was making a living for herself so she could move. This made her many enemies and for the the last 6 years, she has been on the run from a group of werewolves her want to claw her heart out. Other supernaturals are also looking for her!
