                 A familiar presence seemed to linger near Ultear, one she had encountered many times before. Although the aura felt different somehow, as if it had been enveloped in darkness. Ultear shifted, attempting to catch a glimpse of what had been playing the role of her shadow. The mage staring her down was not the one she had expected to find.
