Any thoughts on tape emulation plugins? Here is a new Tape emulation Plugin by UAD Oxide Tape Recorder. I am using it on a Lowrey Organ part in a song on my new upcoming album. Fascinating. Emulating an old warblely tape machine with the @MakeNoiseMusic Morphagene. Using the Rheyemusic Rhodes reel (available on Freesound) René (offset through Maths) is sequencing the splices and triggering the playback and a maths envelope which is opening moddemix Channel 1 to allow an amount of lfo to modulate the Morphagene’s varispeed. DPO’s left oscillator is running at LFO speeds and modulating the Gene Size. Other modulation from Maths, Pressure Points and the Wogglebug.
