Empress ki: one shot - Stay (Taltal x Servant Reader) part 2
Reader's Pov
"What do you mean he's left without saying anything, this can't be right something is up and you know It, your grace" Seung Nyang once again tries to explain what's going on with Taltal for the last couple of weeks. "What I try to say y/n is that he wishes to see you tonight at the temple but what I would recommend is that you should ask the empress dowager for permission to leave the palace for good after all, you do serve her don't you y/n" it's not as easy as you think, your grace. Just as I was about to leave empress dowager came out of nowhere and then said to me "y/n is it true that you are meeting a man in secret?" oh no, of all people who told empress dowager about the meeting between me and Taltal. But what surprises me is that empress dowager is actually smiling about it
"y/n you have been here since you were a young child and I always see you as my own daughter, even we both had our disagreement in the past, you deserve someone that you love" I was shocked that she has said, yet she said to me. Tears started to fall yet I smile "Thank you my lady and it's was an honor to serve you but how did you know that I was meeting with someone" she smiles once again and said, "it was Taltal, he told me about the meeting between you and him but what really shocked me was that he was planning to surprise you if you meet him at the temple tonight" I looked outside and realize that it's only around afternoon "I gotta go change before I go and see him tonight" the moment I turn them only to see that Seung Nyang has left me and empress dowager alone together and I turn to see her majesty smile at me oh no I know that look from anywhere.
A little while later
"I still can't believe this is happing to me, one moment I was serving tea to your majesty the next is that I'm going to meet Taltal tonight while wearing this beautiful gown, do you think that he'll like this your majesty?" empress dowager was helping me with the clothes and the hair but what I didn't expect to see that empress dowager gave a necklace that once belonged to my birth mother many years ago. "not only that I think he will love it y/n but I think you look beautiful with that dress y/n"
"Thank you for everything your majesty" I was about to bow to her but they stop me from doing it. "You should get going otherwise you will be late" I thank them once again then left the building only to see that it's nearly night time. "I can't wait to see the look on his face when he sees me in this dress," I said to myself then suddenly I felt nauseous, I then suddenly realize something I can't believe it, I didn't think of it in the first place but now I know that I am pregnant. just when things couldn't get any worse the rain starting to appear just great, it's a good thing that Seung Nyang left me an umbrella just in case but at least I now know what's been going on with me for the past month, I can't wait to tell Taltal the news.
Unknowingly to her, someone else was actually going to see Taltal before y/n does
Meanwhile Tapjahae's Pov
"Your daydreaming again Tapjahae," Dangkise said to him. Tapjahae then turns to Dangkise and then said to him "my mistake Dangkise, it won't happen again" Dangkise gave him the look and then smile knowingly that Tapjahae can't stop thinking about y/n again. "Your thinking about her again" he turns to his brother wondering how he knew what's on his mind which only to see Dangkise is actually smiling about it damn it, he knows I thought. "Brother every time we see y/n you either smile at her, talk to her or even laugh with her, even I wasn't there I just knew when you were done talking to her, you always smile whenever you think of her" I was actually quite speechless when Dangkise actually pieces it together. "I'm not that foolish Tapjahae but a little bird told me that Taltal and y/n are meeting together tonight if I was you, I would go and see if he's going to tell her the truth or something worst" I don't know how he the info from but I check outside that not only that it's dark but it's raining as well. "Well, what are you waiting for? go get her before it's too late brother" I thank him and left the building I had to stop y/n before she found out the truth.
Reader's pov
After taking a few turns I finally found the temple only to see Taltal talking with another woman inside the temple, this can't be right, out of curiosity I come closer until I'm near the temple door to hear what are they talking about. "Why are you here when I told you countless times not to come here Haru" Haru? I don't think I know her. "And I told you to come back home, I'm starting to worry about you, our wedding is coming next mouth any way" wedding... What does she mean by that... wait so that means Taltal was engaged to another woman. tears stream down on my face after realizing it. I drop the umbrella then came inside and confront him in front of his fiancée. "How could you do this to me? after everything we've been thought" both Taltal and his fiancée turn around to look at me. Haru was confused at first then realize why he came here while Taltal knew that he was in big trouble. I then left the temple and walk away, not even bothering to listening to Taltal calling out my name.
I kept on walking and walking and walking until Tapjahae appeared he look at me and realize that I found out the truth. Then I finally walk towards him "I don't feel very well..." all of a sudden everything went black...
