their first date was as awkward as it could be, the night ending with minnie having red wine spilled all over her ross for less dress. she tries to not be angry with bailey as his hands shake as he tries to sop up the mess he made. she laughs and pushes his hands away, insisting that everything is fine and he doesn’t have to worry about it. the two of them leave the restaurant and he takes her home, the two of the sitting in front of her small apartment building, his knuckles white as he grips the steering wheel and minnie giving him almost a sympathetic look. bailey leans over the middle console, his hands coming up on either side of minnie’s face and kissing her hard, his thumbs caressing her cheeks, the blonde flustered by his sudden kiss. she pulls back, a bit stunned and dazed at his surprise kiss but she shakes it off, his hands warm against her cheeks. his thumbs are still caressing her cheeks and she can’t help but grin, nuzzling into his right hand. “who knew you had that in you, bailey berkovic?”
