I got to check out another fantastic game from Asmodee USA and Tryazon. This is a fun strategy game similar in play to Catan. From the box... “Build a new landscape together! Place tiles, send knights, monks, farmers, and more to claim features, and score points! I played with my adult kids and had a great time. Can’t wait to play again.
It's but a small step in the grand scheme of things, but a step none the less. Buzzer Beater Bowling
What to do: Players are each given 3-5 pins and a foam ball. Players set up their pins on a line that is 10-15 feet from their opponent's line. Players decide who will start by playing "rock-paper-scissors". Without crossing the line upon which their pins are placed, the first player rolls their ball in an attempt to knock down their opponents pins. Players alternate taking turns attempting to knock down their opponent's pins. The goal of the game is to knock down all of your opponent's pins before they knock down all of yours.
Need: Pins Foam balls Cones
Throw Archery What to do: Set up five target areas with skipping ropes. Players must stand behind the throwing line. Players attempt to score the highest number of points by throwing a beanbag into the target areas (players alternate taking turns throwing the beanbag). After each player has made five throws, players then go collect their beanbags, add up their points, and proceed to find a new player who they can challenge.
Need: Beanbags Skipping Ropes Cones Tennis Balls (optional)
Cone Croquest
What to do: Two players are given six cones, two balls, and croquet mallets (or hockey sticks) and get to set up their own playing area. One cone is selected as the "Start" location, and the other cones are numbered one to five. Players decide who will start the game by playing "rock-paper-scissors". The first player then begins the game by standing at the "Start" location and striking their ball with their stick in an attempt to hit cone #1. Players alternate turns striking their ball. Players may purposefully knock their opponent's ball. The goal of the game is to hit all of the cones in order before your opponent.

Frisbee Golf
What to do: Set up different Frisbee Golf "holes" within the playing area. Each "hole" should include: a) a base from where players must start, b) a hoop which is the target, and c) any number of obstacles around which players must throw their frisbee on their way to getting it in the hoop. Divide your class into small teams and provide each team with a golf scorecard (this could be a simple piece of paper). Each team will start at a different "hole". Players take turns attempting to get the frisbee into the hoop (while respecting the obstacles). The amount of throws it takes for a player to get their frisbee into the hoop is their score for that "hole". Players play each of the "holes" and then add up their scores. The goal is to get the lowest score possible.

Beanbag Bocce
What to do: Divide your class into teams of four. Each team is given four identical beanbags (e.g. all of the same colour and one for each player), and one different beanbag (which will serve as the pallino). Teams decide which team will throw first. The starting team throws the pallino beanbag. The first player from that team throws their beanbag trying to get it as close to the pallino as possible. The second team's first player throws and the teams continue to alternate throwing until all eight players have thrown their beanbag. The team who threw the closest beanbag to the pallino wins a point. If that same team also threw the second closest beanbag to the pallino, then they win a second point (and so on for up to a maximum of four points). Only one team can score points per round. Players then collect their beanbags and the pallino, and the team who did not score that round gets to start the second round. Play short games to 7 and have teams play a best-of-three series before moving on to a new opponent.
