I’m so glad you’re reading them! It’s just my salty ass being like “neither the franchise nor the fandom is doing Krennic justice” and writing tens of thousands of words as a result. Which is really my Modus Operendi.
Oooh hahaha he is Dracula looking isn’t he? It’s the Christopher Lee effect - you will either look like Dracula or Saruman.
Anyway! I haven’t watched episodes I, II or III since they came out so my memory of Dooku is really faded and you know I don’t know if I can bring myself to try and rewatch them. Because they were so bad. But I trust you in that I’m sure the franchise did him an injustice as a villain. There’s a lot of “oh shit we wrote ourselves into a corner because the villain’s too good. Let’s now make them REMARKABLY STUPID for like thirty minutes so the heroes can get away” and that annoys me. It’s bad writing.
