Taro Smoothie
Vegan and Vegetarian Recipes!
Now that i’m vaccinated, I finally got the boba i’ve been craving all throughout the pandemic!!!
Taro smoothie
Let's make a taro smoothie at home today. I will add the ingredients in the link below. Making the smoothie is quite simple, and you can make it with few ingredients. Some people call it taro slush or taro boba tea in Los Angeles (if you add boba to it). Others call it taro bubble tea or taro milk tea in L.A. if it’s in a liquefied form rather than being a shake. We’ll explain all the processes so that you can taste the sweet flavors of each. There are several ways to make the smoothie. We’ll quickly go through some of them to give you several options to choose from. We’ll start by making the smoothie from scratch.
If you’ve never tasted taro root before, it has the texture of a sweet potato, but it doesn’t taste like sweet potato. It tastes delicious, but not like sweet potato. If you’ve been to bubble tea shops in Los Angeles and had taro drinks, it was probably powdered taro. The powdered taro gives artificial flavor taste and purple color.
