CHAPTER 23  Aftermath

LAST CHAPTER !!!

You still have visits with Kaden, but Kate simply drops him off at the door, and Daniel is nowhere in sight.   "I hate Daniel being there with my son" Taron expresses his concerns. You know that was not all, and he knows you know there's more to it.  You leave the room to tend to dinner for the kids.   You wipe away the tears, serving up the mac and cheese and nuggets for the kids.  Taron jumps in the shower.   For the first time in your time with Taron, you feel more distant and alone than ever.

The kids are settled in for the night, loving their dinner and falling asleep watching cartoons.  You and Taron kiss them all goodnight.   You have a shower, locking the door behind you.  You see the door knob turning, but turn back around washing your hair.   The tears flow in the shower and you try to stay quiet.  You finish up, drying your hair and put your pyjama's on. You start to cry.  "Omg, sweetie, I had no idea" Amanda feels bad now.   "You weren't to know hun, anyway, let's get drunk "you laugh.  "Fuck yeah" Jemma yells back.  "I'm good guys" Amanda says, sipping her juice.   "You haven't had a drink all nig.....Omg, You're pregnant aren't you?" you squeal with delight.   "Shhh, Jack doesn't know yet" she ushes you both to keep your  voices down.  "To Amanda and Jack" as you and Jemma raise your glasses.
