⬆️Upright - painful loss, destruction, sudden change, revelation
⬇️Reversed - delaying the inevitable, escape, resisting change
For the tower I chose to do a cat tower/tree, but I didn't want to do it broken and on fire.
⚡So I decided to do the lightning/thunder outside the house, but I positioned it in a way that it would seem it’s hitting the cat tower. The lightning is about revelation.
☁️The gray clouds represent the uncertainty of the future.
🔥For the fire, I did like the little pompoms on the cat tree. In this card, fire is destruction and cleansing.
🩶The “tower” is basically the structure of a cat tree/tower, but each platform has been customized with cardboard to look like a stone tower. That’s why I tried to make the rocks look like they were made with crayons, to give the impression that it’s homemade. The tower represents a false sense of security or the ego.
🙀🙀In the card there are two figures falling from the tower, they represent (according to my research) the conscious and subconscious and having no control over the situation. So I drew two cats jumping scared of the lightning/thunder.
⭐ I want to thank @designstack for the suggestion to explain my thought process behind the cards.⭐
I will do the cards that I already post on the weekends, maybe two per post.
Also, I want to make clear that I’m not a tarot specialist.
I research the cards before doing them and I do the cards based on what I understand from the research. If someone doesn’t agree with something that I said, feel free the comment (respectfully) and give your point of view.
