The chicken breasts are seared just right and come with a creamy mustard tarragon sauce. This dish is packed full of flavor and is great for a cozy dinner.
Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 2 tablespoons olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 cup chicken broth. 1/2 cup heavy cream. 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard. 1 tablespoon chopped fresh tarragon leaves.
Instructions: Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Stir in heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and chopped tarragon. Bring sauce to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened. Return chicken breasts to the skillet and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. Serve chicken with mustard tarragon sauce spooned over the top.
