The 1 who made a difference in my life.

The person who has made the biggest difference in my life is my boyfriend, Jr. we have been together for 9 years. When I started working in a nursing home almost 10 years ago, I thought my life was meaningless and I was just a burden to anyone I came across. I was depressed but needed a job so that I wasn’t homeless. about that same time I had hooked up with another guy and ended up getting pregnant which did not help my situation any. I worked at the nursing home through out my pregnancy. I didn’t know at the time that Jr was drawn to me in any way. I figured that I would remain single and raise my child alone and never have the opportunity to experience a healthy, loving relationship. I didn’t have a good upbringing and I had to figure a lot of things out for myself. one day while I was on maternity leave, I took my daughter to the nursing home so that coworkers and residents could meet her, Jr had started a conversation with me, he hadn’t really talked much before but it felt different. I felt safe. So I started going over to his house and getting to know him and his daughter better. He is the one who had helped me out of my depression that had been going on for years. He accepted my infant child right away. He let me know that I was not alone and that I deserve to be loved and supported. My daughter calls him dad. He has helped me become the person I am today. He has been my support when I am having down times, he has totally supported me while I have gone back to school and even his family have accepted my and my child. they are more like family than my own. I couldn’t imagine where I would be without him. He works hard and loves harder. People who know him, know that if they have a problem he is there to listen and give advise. He is a huge influence in my life, my daughter’s life, and many other people who has gotten to know him throughout the years. He doesn’t have a Tumblr but  he does look at mine, just FYI. I truly believe that he is the person responsible for me being here and able to make this post. Much Love!!!
