Lex Barker took over the Tarzan role after Johnny Weissmuller retired the loincloth to play Jungle Jim. Joining Lex in his inaugural outing in "Tarzan's Magic Fountain" (1949) were Brenda Joyce as Jane and Cheeta the chimp. For more information, see "Tarzan on Film."
