I have not done pure git for a few years

I have used it today

I could sleep peacefully without using it and live with IDEs' built-in interfaces for it

Pure git is confusing

I tried to create a local repo in my Obsidian vault and set up GitHub authorization to find out that I'm already authorized somehow (?)

Each time I'm trying to search for an instruction on setting up my GitHub credentials in git I find fuckillion different guides. More than half of them are outdated

I need one maintained official guide that is not as long and confusing as the current one

I've been studying for my web dev/software dev degree for 7 years, and only now the uni decided to give us an express course into php

I only started checking it out today

And I fucking hate it already

Who in their right mind thought that using $ everywhere is nice and convenient and not annoying at all?

Did you know that sometimes Base64 strings come out of an online link with "-" and "_" instead of "+" and "/"? And did you also know that Python base64 library, apparently, only works with the "+" and "/" pair?
