grew up in orphanages (all my muses have no parents... do i project??? perhaps...) which isn’t fun now, and definitely wasn’t fun centuries ago either

met the love of his life at the last orphanage he was in the care of and basically it’s like if Romeo and Juliet was actually romeo and mercutio bc mercutio obviously loved romeo way more then juliet ever did bc he knew him for more then 11 hours soooo 

precious teenage love and reckless bravery and all that good stuff, boys are 1000% endgame and decide to run away together

so fucking obviously that’s when wes decides to die, bc nothing says ‘i love you’ quite like never showing up to your meeting spot bc you’re like... dead

basically, some guy robs him while he’s on his way to meet Mr loml, stabbing him in the process, and he dies alone in some dirty 1500s alleyway

end of story except not really because boy is now a fuckin ghost?? only everything is jumbled up and memories are twisted and broken, and he kind of wanders for a few hundred years, not knowing really anything about himself

who he is now isn’t necessarily who he used to be; he wouldn’t know though.

Powers-

Intangibility- Like, the OG ghost power tbh. His natural state is intangible, passing through any and all matter. Holding a tangible form is much more difficult, and depends a lot on wes’ ability to keep a calm mind. Which he is very very bad at doing

Invisibility- actually like 90% of wes’ powers are actually just him hiding from social situations, which is a Mood

Immortality??- Idk, are you immortal if you’re already dead? Whatevs, basically he just don’t age. On account of him being... dead.

Hey hey hey, I’m Amber, and this is my actual, for real son whomst I birthed many years ago, in the early 2010s! I’ve literally been playing with this muse since like 2012 so there is so much back story to him, I forget it all myself half the time. Also, 90% of it revolves around an ongoing plot my and my bestie have had going for a few years, so I’ll try to keep this boiled down to the more basic stuff (until I convince her to join, that is!) So since I cannot function without lists, this will be in bullet form- god bless those of you who are put together enough to write out actual paragraphs with coherent thoughts and ideas, but I am not of your kind.

Lonely Boy, never knew his father, he and his mother were both ostracized by the other pack members, and Marion was abandoned by the pack when his mother died, he was 7. Bounced around countless foster homes, group homes, and orphanages, always either getting kicked out or managing to run away. Has been on his own since he was 18.

longs for friends and a family, but tends to avoid others- better to have never loved (or be loved) at all, then to have loved and lost

sarcasm and feigned coolness are his go-to shields- everything gets brushed off and pushed down and locked away so he doesn’t have to deal with it, because he can’t afford to appear any weaker then he already does as a packless wolf

Powers-

Special Time of The Month- I’m borrowing from Buffy lore here, so werewolf shifts take place on the day before, the day of, and the day after the full moon

Enhanced Senses- Scent, hearing, sight, all much more advanced than your average healthy human

Partial Shift- Only very, very old wolves can control the shift without a full moon, and Mari is not even close to old, so unless it’s a life or death situation, it’s highly unlikely he will be able to achieve even a partial shift

Durability- Wolves are very sturdy creatures, and it takes quite a lot to do them real physical damage (they can still be hurt!! some even like it ((winkwink)) they just don’t break easily) 

Weaknesses-

Wolfsbane- icky poison, short term exposure can cause migraines, unstable shifts, nausea, basically the hangover from hell. Long term exposure or exposure to large amounts can lead to an inability to shift at all, coma, and even death.

Water- this is a personal weakness, but Marion loathes the water. Lakes, pools, beaches, anything larger than a bathtub reminds him of the stories the other children from his pack would scare him with, about packs that drowned their weak and useless members to put them out of their misery.

Also just a personal Marion weakness, but if you yell at him he’ll pretty much do whatever you want forever and no one knows if it’s because he’s scared of disappointing people, or because being yelled at turns him on, least of all him! Honestly, it’s probably both.
