Task 6: Day 3 (The Feast)

So the hunt begins…Three of the tributes out of the previous eleven are now deceased and seven more need to bite the dust before a crown can be awarded to one of you little darlings. It's time for things to get up close and personal.

We’re having a Feast!

Each of you will be getting a special goodie bag containing:

Food

Water

An advanced medical set (complete with healing salves, burn oinments, gauze, morphling tablets and so much more.)

An actual weapon, up to my discretion on which it is.

 Now, it’s your choice to come or not, but you know, it doesn’t hurt to try. Well, it might but what’s the point of a reward with no risk? I’ll tell you: nothing. In this game, it’s risk it all or gain nothing. And if you risk nothing, in abundance you will receive.

Here’s what you need to know:

The Feast:

My character, HGM Matt, will announce the feast over the arena PA at about 2 pm that day. It will start an hour later.

It will be located at the Cornucopia, where a circular silver table will be set up. It will be set in a clock-like formation in coordination with the remaining districts. I.E. Lynna's bag will be facing the mouth of the horn, Sagitarria’s will be facing the east exit, Arionna’s to the west, and Santos’ facing the south.

The District 2 bags are neon blue.

The District 4 bag is neon yellow.

The District 5 bag is neon pink.

The District 6 bag is an illuminated silver.

The District 8 bag is a bright purple.

The District 10 bag is neon orange.

The District 12 bag is white.

The Competitors:

Injuries:

Larah: Hip wound, broken ribs (front), various bruises

Scorpio: Glass embedded in foot, severed arm

Sagitarria: None

Elysia: None

Santos: Withdrawal

Arionna: Slit cheek

Quiver: None

Lynna: Bruised throat and trachea, broken ribs (back)

Continue this task like you did the Day 2 one, but Feast Style and in third person, as always.

Task 1 & 2: Public and Private Training

1:

First off, congratulations on being the 24 tributes who will represent your district in the 39th Annual Hunger Games.

Now, it’s time to pick your new skillsets going into the Games. You will be in the training Center for Three Days, two to train alongside and one to train privately. You have accumulated 12 hours total. You may divide up your hours in training to the following categories:

Archery

Tree Climbing

Plant Knowledge

Melee Fighting (Close up)

Long-Distance Fighting

Swords

Maces

Tridents

Throwing Knives

Chemistry

Technology

Swimming

Sewing

Camoflague

Shelter Knowledge

Fire Starting Knowledge

Climbing

Anxiety Training

Trapping

Tracking

Weather Survival

Finding Water

Knives

Axes (includes throwing)

Navigation

Weights

Knots

Edibility Knowledge

Fishing

Wrestling

Animal Studies

Masonry

Forgery

These skills will be the ones you know best before entering the arena. You will be adept at them. Of course, you may get the chance to learn some of these in the arena, but it’ll be piss poor compared to those who had prior knowledge.

You wait in the dining hall with your twenty-three adversaries. You might sit in a group or at a table all by yourself. You hear people’s names being called, the anxiety building up. You may be one of the first or the last. But, what you’re really wondering is how you’ll get a high score. Will you impress them with your body or your mind? Just as you figure it out, a voice calls your name. Time to go.

Okay, tributes, here is a list of guidelines:

You must write in third person (on both tasks) i.e. Matt said, instead of I say

Be realistic in what you write, in terms of the Hunger Games

You may use any station listed here and perhaps some others if you ask nicely.

There will be a simulator that simulates situations from previous Games

Please refrain from killing Avoxes and Peacekeepers. If you must, then please, don’t mutilate them. You’re a kid for crying out loud. Unless you’re a psycho, then please not everyone be crazy this Game.

Note: This is the only time in the Games where guys go before girls.
