Lucas James Hendrix

Does your character have any medical problems? Lucas has Intermittent explosive disorder also known as IED, it’s something his father has too however unlike his father he’s able to control it with the help of his girlfriend and sometimes, but not all the time pills. Often times when he’s triggered he usually blacks out and doesn’t really remember what had happened and often times he’s found in jail.

Does your character have any diagnosed mental illnesses? He deals with bipolar disorder something he inherited from his mother or so he’s made to believe. Though, he takes medication for it and luckily he’s only Bipolar I Disorder and has never gotten any worse, if medication doesn’t do the job then his music does as well as his girlfriend and son. Anything that makes his happy usually keeps it at bay.

How does your character get around London? (ie. car, bike, personal driver, etc.) Often times he uses a personal driver, but he does like to take out his motorcycle every now and then and if not that his jeep usually when his son goes with him and Rae anywhere.

What was your character’s first job? He didn’t have much of a job unless you call being in a garage band a job then he did that up until he was around the age of 20-21. Until he signed into his dad’s label, Red Razor Records.

Is your character an introvert or an extrovert? He’s usually an introvert, he’s always been that way. Not much of a big crowd type of guy, unless it’s at shows where performing usually distracts him from realizing how big the crowds usually are. He’d rather stay in then go out and he’s a bit of a quiet person and likes to keep to himself.

Does your character believe in God? He believes that there is a god out there, that everything happens for a reason. However, you’ll never see him go to a church mainly because he was forced by his grandparents to go.

If you could describe your character in one sentence, what would it be? Lucas is a bit of a hot head, with a good heart and he’s very caring and will do anything to help anyone even if in the end he gets hurt.

Does your character have any relationship dealbreakers? Any dealbreakers would be that he hates people who are very controlling and makes him change for her liking and he hates someone who can’t cook a good meal.

Is your character close with their parents? Close enough, but not too close. His father is a bit of a dick and the only way the could be close is if his father could prove he has a heart and Lucas knows that’s never going to happen.

Does your character believe in marriage? Lucas definitely wants to believe in marriage again, but after his last failed marriage it’s kind of hard. However, Raelynn is changing that for him. Making him believe in marriage and being happy together forever.

How would you describe your character’s fashion style? His styles is kept mostly on the grunge side, he’s a rocker boy a heart and that hasn’t changed. He also wears a lot of fleece shirt and ripped jeans.

What is your character’s biggest fear? His biggest fear in life is losing the two most important people in his life, his girlfriend Rae and his son Brennan. Honestly, he’d give up his life for them.

What words or phrases does your character overuse? “whalecum” honestly it’s his most favorite greeting and he doesn’t care if it offends anyone.

Does your character make snap judgements or do they think things over? Honestly it depends on the situation, sometimes he’s one to make snappy judgements and other times he’s able to just think things over before acting.

What is your character’s philosophy on life? That everything happens for a reason and no matter what the situation is, it’ll always get better and that sometimes it’s ok to ask for help, when it calls for it.

How does your character display affection? He pretty much wears his heart on his sleeve and will express his love and affection how he sees fit, whether it’s in public or it’s in private.

How does your character want to be seen by others? Like a good person, like he’s caring and would do anything for someone in a heartbeat. However, some people just view him as an uncaring asshole.

Is your character optimistic or pessimistic? He tries to be optimistic about everything, however sometimes it’s easier to be opposite of that, but luckily lately since being with Rae again his mindset has been a bit different, he’s a bit more optimistic these days.

What will your character stand up for? He’ll always stand up for what he feels in his heart is right, just like he’d stand up for anyone he cares about and he’s stand up for equal rights for everyone black, white, gay or straight.

What is your character most proud of? He’s most proud of his son, because since his son was born he’s been clean free of drugs and he’d do anything and everything to ensure that his son has the greatest life he could possibly think of.

Task 43

A loud yawn passed the brunette's mouth as she slowly sat up in bed with a loud groan. Her head was spinning and pounding all together. She had went out last night after work with a few of her friends. It had been a while since she had gone out, so why not treat herself? Throwing her feet over the edge of the bed she pushed herself off, trying not to disturb her sleeping boyfriend. Looking at him she smiled and then made her way into the shower, needing to wash the stench of last night off her body. When she finished she had stepped out of the shower and made her way back to the bed where her phone was lighting up with a notification, telling her that she had received a text. Frowning she reached down and picked it up, reading through the text. Though what she read had surprised her.

"If you tell anybody about last night, we're done." Remington's frown grew as she looked towards the number, not being able to recognize it. Who the hell? She asked herself before reading over the text once more. She couldn't figure out who it woud be, not being able to even lightly figure out the number and who it belonged to. Had she met someone last night when she was drinking? Biting on her lower lip she made her way out of the room, giving the number a call. Bringing the phone up to her ear she waited patiently, wondering if the mystery person would answer the phone. Remington began to tap her foot against the floor, her patience running thin. She wasn't a fan of assholes who sent her random text messages thinking it's a good prank. Remington had lots of enemies and if one of them were truly out to get her then she needed to know. Hanging up she called once more to see if they would answer. When there was none she gripped onto her phone tightly able to heat Barn waking up in the room. "Fucking hell," she whispered and headed back into the room.

it bugged her, not knowing who had sent her the text. With a frown she pulled her phone out once more, clicking on her photos. She began to scroll through them wondering if there were any indication of someone coming in on her girls night. Making the pictures bigger she scrolled through them again, spotting someone that she hadn't seen in a very long time. Someone from her past. Taking in a sharp breath she covered her mouth and continued to scroll through, seeing all of the shit that had happened last night. Blow, MDMA, weed.. it was all right there. Remington knew she hadn't done any, she would have felt it in her veins but Vienna had. Vienna had been the one who pushed her into the dark whole she had gotten herself into when her parents died. Though now the confusion set in once again. What was she even doing here? Hell no she wouldn't be telling people what happened last night. From the pictures she could tell that it was done in the VIP booths at Pulse. Her own club. If these got out her club would be jeopardized and that wasn't acceptable. Not only that but she couldn't let Barnabas see. What would he think about that? She knew he wouldn't have been happy about it. Taking in a deep breath, Remington began to delete all the pictures from last night, praying to god that there weren't double. When the last picture had been deleted there was a knock on the door and in the pit of her stomach she knew who it would be.

Task 5: Day 2

Congratulations on the fourteen of you that have survived the Bloodbath. An epic battle between you left ten no longer alive. Their bodies have been removed and you are safe the first night. Overnight, it appears that the slops leading up to the platforms are gone, leaving to no way to reach the top. It appears that clouds have formed over the arena, blocking out the sun and most of the light in the canyon-can you survive in the dark?

Task 4: The Bloodbath

Tributes, your days of being in the Capitol are over. At least they are for now. Your mentor/escort wakes you up early on the opening days of the Games. You get dressed in your transitional uniform and meet your mentor/escort on the roof of the training center. There, you see the people that may very well end your life. Perhaps you might end theirs. Before you can step any farther onto the aircraft, you're frozen on the last rung of the ladder. A man in a white labcoat approaches you and sticks a syringe into your arm. You watch as the tracker surfaces beneath your skin. Best they not lose a tribute. You're free and you take your seat next to one of your fellow tributes.

The hovercraft ride lasts about an hour and a half. When you approach your destination, the windows tint black.

You reach the Launch Room and meet with your stylist. They present you with the outfit you'll be wearing in the arena:

They tell you that the coat, while unfortunate in color is great for waterproofing as are the boots, which come up to your knees. The shirt is thin and the pants are flexible. They inform you that you may encounter some water.

You say goodbye to your stylist and watch as the glass tube envelops you.

Your slowly begin to rise, as does the pressure, and you can hardly wait the anticipation of the Games filling your veins with adrenaline and with some of you, fear.

After a couple moments you can see it just over the top of your head-the arena.

Your plate stands on a slab of rock that stretches as as far as you can see. Although, you had a sinking suspicion that trying to go anywhere but down was not encouraged. The golden horn sat at the bottom of the basin, atop a patch of gravel. Surrounding the edges of the canyon were trees as well as caves. It was such a massive canyon, it must have stretched for at least a mile. You were thankful that at least the Gamemakers sloped the canyon so you would break your bones trying to get down.

The Cornucopia and it's contents:

These are your positions on the ledge of the canyon. Use the arena picture as a reference as to where you are. They are all equidistant to the cornucopia. There is wildlife in the woods (bunnies, birds)

Outside on the ground:

1-Gallon Jugs of Water

2-Food Parcels (Contain eight beef strips and a loaf of bread)

3-Flashlights (battery life is approximately two days)

4-20 feet of rope

5-Tents (large and waterproof)

6-Night Vision Glasses (Do not work in sunlight)

7- Wooden Cutting Board

1-Swords

2-Spears

3-Throwing Axes

4- Throwing Knife Leg Holsters (6 Knives)

5- Bow and Quiver (12 arrows)

6- A Bright Red Pack

Your Task is to tell me what you do in the Bloodbath and if you partake-how you survive. Do you have any allies? Enemies? Do you target anyone? Do you purposefully avoid people? If you choose to hang back, where do you go?

There are no rules, although do not step off your plate for sixty seconds.

I do not require a length but at least write enough to make me want to keep you alive.

Task 3: Tribute Interviews

After a long run in the Capitol, the Graeca Twins, Kardos and Kastos have decided to allow Caesar Flickerman to once again take their place as Master of Ceremonies. To celebrate his triumphant return his hair, lips, and eyelids were a lovely shade of gold.

The twenty-four of you sit in an arch around the man and his free seat-which you will sit in once they call your name starting with the District 1 girl, then boy and so on and so forth. You only have three minutes to answer whatever Caesar asks you. Remember he's there to help you.

Your task this time is to craft an interview with the bubbly Caesar Flickerman. Write out dialogue and descriptors please.

Some questions you may want to include:

What has your time been like in the Capitol?

How do you feel about your score? Is it good or bad?

What are you hoping the arena to be?

What is/was your life like back home?

Is there anyone special you're hoping to return to?

Pretty much any question you want, as long as it's not too absurd.

Some things you want to ask yourself when doing this task:

What is your angle? This can range from innocent to sexy to sullen to vicious killer. This will allow the audience to get an idea of who you are about and whether or not they want to root for you.

What are you wearing? Also important because if you're easy on the eyes the audience will like you more.

Rules:

Write in third person (i.e. he said/she said) because these will be posted as is, though I will fix tiny grammar mistakes

Remember that there is no backstage, so don't include one.

Task 2: Private Training

Upon being brought to the Capitol, you’ve endured the Parade and the Public Training rounds. Now, it is time to face the panel of Gamemakers for your Private Training. You enter the room and see the weaponry racks, the forest simulation, the survival station, the knot station, the gauntlet, the ropes course and the same Olympic sized pool that branches off the dining room from last year.

You enter the room and are presented to the Gamemakers, you recognize the Head Gamemaker, Matt. You notice extra Peacekeepers standing by the booth, ensuring that if you try and attack the Gamemakers, you will be killed in the Bloodbath.

Matt waves his hand and motions for you to begin.

Your task is simple- show me what you do in the Private Training room. I am looking for your creativity, skill, and entertainment! 

Rules:

You may not kill anyone, including Avoxes, Peacekeepers, and Trianers. Although the latter may be roughed up.

You attack me or other Gamemakers, you will die in the Bloodbath.

You can show your skills in as many stations as you want!

Your score will be equivalent to the amount of sponsor points you shall be receiving. Effort=points

Task 1: Public Training + Revealing Parade Looks

Welcome, Tributes of the 43rd Annual Hunger Games!

The Parades have passed on and you have made an impression with the Capitol, one way or another. These were your looks:

District 1:

Your stylist had dressed you in a sleeveless bodysuit studded with glistening rubies. Your hair had been slicked back and glittered with specks of ruby. Talisa had ruby red eye shadow and lipstick. You both had on black combat boots.

District 2:

Your stylist had dressed you in gladiator-style outfits made of pure silver. You sparkled and gleamed and the lights catch your outfits with ease. Your faces are donned with silver war paint.

District 3:

Your stylist had dressed you in a tight bodysuit with a glowing white outline of your skeleton. Your had been slicked back with thick black oil and your face was painted dark with glowing paint to mimic the bones in the face.

District 4:

Your stylist had dressed you in outfits that covered your private parts in fishnets with a couple of fish in them. Your body was painted beautifully to look waterlogged and you had barnacles crowing from the back of your hand and the side of your cheek.

District 5:

Your stylist had dressed you in a suit comprised of solar panels that reflected the lights from the Training Center stables.Your hair had been parted neatly and efficiently while your makeup was minimal.

District 6:

You stylist had dressed you in a simple white tunic and suspenders that lined your chest like train tracks. Your boots had been fitted with small wheels that emulated those of train wheels. To top off the look, you wore a conductor's cap.

District 7:

Your stylist had dressed you as a tree. Not just a tree, though. Bark covered your skin from head to toe and you were spritzed to smell like real pine. Your hair had been tangled up in a wreath made to look like bird's nests while a plumage of leaves surrounded your throat.

District 8:

Your stylist had dressed you in a sweater made from twenty-four different colors of threads. Your stylist informed you that it was to represent the fate you and your competitors now shared. In addition, they crafted loose fitting pants of the same nature.

District 9:

Your stylist had dressed you in tunics made of a gold bead that you supposed was meant to symbolize grain. Your pants were crafted of a similar material. To complete the look, wheat was tucked behind both of your ears, to mimic some sort of laurel.

District 10:

Your stylist had dressed you in full leather armor that accentuated your best features. The helmet they fitted you with had goat horns for Ramsay and bull horns for Brahaman. Your makeup was minimal, only to cover up minor flaws.

District 11:

Your stylist had dressed you in an assortment of fruit. Your hat was made to symbolized the golden horn and you were the plentiful bounty. Slices of strawberry covered your chest as pineapple skins were wrapped around your waist. Watermelon and cantaloupe hides covered your legs and groin. Grapevines were wrapped around your wrists.

District 12:

Your stylist had dressed you in a coal miner's outfit. Small sticks of dynamite had been placed around your hats. They also stuck out of the pockets of your overalls and one or two had been stuck into your boots.

Public Training:

Your duty for Task 1 is to write a paragraph or two (in first or third person) on what you do during the three days you are given to train in preparation for the Games. Do you show off all your skills to intimidate your opponent? Do you show off a couple, keeping a couple up your sleeve? Do you cozy up to a select few, forming an alliance or do you stay solo? Do you learn something you've never done? Or do you stick to what you know?

*Keep in mind you only have three days and are only able to learn one or two skills really well. Also take your district's experience level and backstory into account?*
