• tasm!peter who’s so thoughtful and considerate of you. you’re having an off day? it’s okay, he has your favorite snack(s) and drink(s) on standby. and don’t let him find out you’re on your period because then he’ll really show you what mothering looks like. he just really cares for you, you know, cuz you’re his best friend 🌚
“get your jacket, it’s cold out.” he’ll say before putting on his own. he’ll care for himself later.
“ohh you poor thing.” never teasingly but you feel your pride bruise from his care nevertheless. “i’m fine.” you nasally manage with a faux scowl. he just shakes his head and wags a finger at you all disapprovingly.
you don’t want to be that person and stop to rest every ten minutes and work up more sweat than you can handle, but peter is sharp and perceptive and just so damn considerate. he stops every thirty minutes to make sure you’re perfectly capable of continuing the trek for another half hour. “why don’t you ever tell me you’re tired? you know we can always stop and continue this another time.” the concern on his face and the tenderness in his throat compels you. “…you’ve just been looking forward to this for so long and i didn’t wanna ruin it.” you sheepishly admit. the smile on his face blinds you momentarily. “i’m not looking forward to you dying on me.” he says. “now drink up.”
• tasm!peter who whenever he sees something that reminds him of you, doesn’t thing twice about grabbing it. there’s a ty beanie baby keychain hanging from his backpack, and he got it just because it shares your birthday. he was pleasantly surprised to find out you got one with his birthday to match. even your favorite color has changed his view of it. he wants to buy you everything in it because he knows you’ll be overjoyed.
“i think you’ll like this.” he hands you a cup as he sips on his, liking the drink more than anticipated. you find that drink in his hands more often with another cup waiting for you.
he passes by a flower shop on his bike and immediately backpedals. your favorite flowers are sold at this shop and he doesn’t think twice to purchase them. with a giddy smile, he bikes to you knowing the look on your face is worth so much more than that twenty dollar bill.
peter didn't need much time thinking about what to get you for christmas. he's been by your side for a long time and those years hold something so special, no amount of gifts can show appreciation. he makes a diy gift for you. it took him a month to get it right and perfect and it so is. your teary eyes and soft sniffles hit his heart and he didn't need your words to tell him how grateful you were. but you tell him anyway and he continues with this newfound skill to make you things you love. you set them in places around your room, leaving those bits and pieces of him everywhere in your home.

• may is the happiest she's ever been in a long time. she's loved you for just as long and much her darling nephew has, and always knew it’d be you he brings home. she was just patiently waiting for the either one of you to come to that moment, too.
• tasm!peter who will make playlists dedicated to you and add songs that remind him of you. he'll listen to them on patrol, when he's walking to class, when he's on the bus / train, doing homework / chores, etc. music is one of his favorite things in the whole world, of course he's gonna find a way to relate it back to you!

peter gives you time and space if you don't want to talk about it at the moment or if you want to be left alone but when you come to him on your own accord, he clings to you like a koala. arms around you while your head is tucked away into his chest below his chin. he pats your hair and talks about anything and everything or he'll stay silent as you speak.
