I literally refuse to believe that Dane Dehaan's Harry Osborn in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 isn't gay.

He gives such massive queer vibes it's not even funny.

after TASM 2, Peter spends more time working at the Daily Bugle.

Aunt May thinks it's good, at first-- Peter getting more in touch with photography. It's been a long time since Peter has waltzed around with his camera.

But Peter isn't there because he's reigniting an old passion to cope.

He's just graduated high school. Societal pressure all around to DO something with his life; this is the point where he's supposed to get a job, sustain himself, follow his passions. A smart boy like him should be going to college and being a scientist, an inventor, something clever.

And Peter doesn't care about any of that.

Definitely doesn't want to pursue college, or anything science related-- reminds him too much of his parents. Of Gwen.

So he chooses the path of least resistance. The Bugle.

He technically has a job-- one "aligned with his interests," even.

And it's safe. Safer than the alternative-- college, science-- at least.

And a photographer doesn't have to follow strict schedules, doesn't have to answer to people, doesn't have responsibilities. Or so Peter tells himself-- and others, when they argue with him. It's only a matter of time before it catches up with him, really.
