This little cutie is an 11 month old baby Tasmanian Devil. ... I visited Natureworld yesterday. It's about 5 kms north of Bicheno on Tassie's East Coast. There are native Australian animals to see and get up very close with. The main work of the park is two fold: 1: care for rescue animals, and 2: breed Devils and engage in important research into the Devil Fascial Tumour that is devastating the Devil population. 🐾 If a cure cannot be found, Devils will not last beyond the next 30 years. Natureworld works collaboratively with many other parks under the umbrella program of Save The Tassie Devil initiative. They also run another program called 'Devils in The Dark' which is where you, me, the public, become part of the nightly observation of Devils in their natural wild habitat. @loves_laughs and I joined in on the Devil watch last night.... Absolutely. Fascinating. 🐾 #Devils #tassiedevils #tasmaniandevils #greateasterndrive @eastcoasttasmania #discovertasmania @tasmania #seeaustralia @australia #abcmyphoto #abcopen (at Natureworld Tasmania)
