To Reach the Moon w/ korra--the--avatar
Meelo paced up and down the hall, trying to decide what to do. He loved Korra, he knew that; had loved her since he met her at the South Pole, although then it was more of a child’s admiration. His love for her had grown with him, though, and he was finally old enough and mature enough to be able to qualify his love. She had always played with him as a child, helped him with some of his pranks, put up with his antics; but now, he wanted to be treated as a man, not as a child. He wanted her to be everything to him. She was as bright and beautiful as the moon in the sky, and brave as a moose-lion. She was the coolest damn girl he’d ever met, and he wanted her to know it, and return his feelings.
She had travelled for a while, after she mastered all of the elements. She had duties as an Avatar, after all. He’d heard stories of her, second hand, from people on the street, and from Republic City’s newspaper. She had come a long way, and gone to great lengths to strengthen the relationship between benders and nonbenders, to smooth out the ripples that had been caused by Amon’s rebellion. And he was so proud of her for that.
Now, she had come back to Republic City, ostensibly on business, but she had found time to visit Air Temple Island. She was staying in the exact same room she had before, in the women’s wing. As he walked down the hall to her room, he thought of what he should say to her. He was a man, now (a handsome one, at that), and he had so much more to offer her now. He could protect her, travel with her, hold her at night…and he had enough experience to pleasure her, if she wanted it. He’d do anything for her, and she hoped he’d accept his offer.
As he drew closer to her door, his heart was hammering in his ears, so that he couldn't even hear his footfalls. Spirits, what if she refused? He drew himself up at that thought: he was a master airbender, and they'd always gotten along so well. She had to at least think about it. Finally, he was in front of her screen door, and he knocked; and just as he knocked, he heard muffled grunts and moans, and a sharp intake of breath. Oh spirits, what have I gotten myself into now? he thought, his heart quaking, lumped into his throat.
"K-Korra?"
((Don't feel pressured into continuing this as a multipara rp, either dearie! Whatever works for you. It was just such a good piece, it seemed easier to recycle it with a few modifications. I'm willing to roll with the punches here ;)))
taste--my--fury started following missvavavoom
"Hello, Meelo!" As she clasped a and over her cheek, a small giggle rattling her frame. "How good to see you again, little one. How have you been fairing since Amon's disappearance?"
She paused to straighten up, clasping her arms over her stomach.
"Have you mastered fart bending, yet?" She teased, sticking her tongue out.
"Hello Meelo!"
"Hi...Gran Gran," Meelo replied, still unsure as to whether he should believe that they were, in fact, related.

((:P such is the curse of the fangirl. No biggie. I just suck at tone and tone is lost on the Internet and so on and so forth :P))
[One of the things I hate about the internet. Tone is just so important! Gah.
But really, you should try to read them.]

((THERE ARE BOOKS WHY HAVE I NOT BEEN PREVIOUSLY INFORMED OF THIS))
[THE BOOKS CAME FIRST THANK YOU. THE MOVIE CAME AFTER INSPIRATION FROM THE BOOKS.

GO THERE AND LEARN ABOUT THEM, THEN GO TO AMAZON OR THE LIBRARY AND READ THEM. ALL OF THEM.
THIS SHOULD NOT UPSET ME AS MUCH AS IT DOES.]
Babysitting with the airbabies
((Seriously feel free to change that. I suggest the order me, jinora-the-bookworm, and bolinn for this, but if either of you want to just jump in at some point, get a message out first so's someone else doesn't start writing? I had that happen once and it got really confusing.))
Gah! This was going to be SOO boring! Everyone was gone from the island, except, of course, the obligatory air acolytes and White Lotus sentries. There was a big ceremony being held in honour of Korra, for helping to save Republic City, and recognizing her as the Avatar and such and sucher. So the entire island was gone, except himself, Jinora, and Bolin. Ikki was actually gone visiting a friend in the city, she just didn't want to be stuck with Meelo without any "responsible" adults around (some of the White Lotus actually really enjoyed Meelo's shenanigans, and weren't terribly enthusiastic about punishing him for them). Bolin had wanted a day to just lay in, or so he said. And Jinora...well, she wanted to read her moldy books, of course. So Meelo had wandered back into the library, where both Jinora and Bolin (what?) had their noses buried into books, and began pestering them to stop being so boring.
Boys and girls
Meelo was walking over to Korra's room, where she was probably still asleep, but Meelo hadn't thought of that. He was carrying a jar with some bugs in it that he thought she'd find cool. He was the coolest girl he'd ever known in his short life (WAAYYY cooler than his sisters, and as pretty as Asami). He was hoping that she'd spend the day playing with him, and had brought an offering to hopefully tilt the scales in his favour. He knocked on her screen door (not an easy thing to do, but growing up in the temple, he'd learned how best to), and said tentatively, "Korra?"
