This poem appeals to the sense of taste. It derives us to the term of having someone sitting by your side and experiencing a taste of eternity. The author used the things we can’t reach as an example to describe the way she felt in that moment she had achieved with someone. My reaction to this poem is that I came into realization what love can make you feel and do, like how well this short piece was written.
