My kids will never understand the greatness of this place. I spent over half of my life in the back of this restaurant practicing my flute & trumpet, doing homework on a makeshift desk on top of a freezer, and falling asleep on the deep freeze until my parents were ready to go home. • I remember being little and the sweetest, little old men would give me a quarter for a tip once in a while. There are still some customers I regularly ask about. I havent seen them in over a decade since moving to mid MO, but I still wonder about them. • My nephew ends up her often until his dad gets off work and goes to get him. Man, he has no clue how easy he’s got it with is iPad and other electronics. Lucky duck 😂 • My dad turns 75 this weekend. They put the restaurant up for sale last year. I keep waiting for the phone call telling me it’s sold. I can’t wait for when my parents will get to sit back & relax, and enjoy their life! I’ve never seen two people work so hard to make sure their children have everything the need to succeed in life.
