Cheese sliders are the perfect bite-sized burgers that are great for parties or a quick snack. These mini burgers are loaded with flavor and topped with a savory sauce.
Ingredients: 12 slider buns. 1 pound ground beef. Salt and pepper to taste. 12 slices cheddar cheese. 1/2 cup diced onions. 1/2 cup diced pickles. 1/4 cup ketchup. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 2 tablespoons butter, melted.
Instructions: Preheat your grill or stovetop griddle over medium-high heat. Divide the ground beef into 12 equal portions and shape them into small patties. Season each patty with salt and pepper. Place the patties on the grill or griddle and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and allow it to melt. While the patties are cooking, split the slider buns and brush the insides with melted butter. Toast the buns on the grill or griddle until they are lightly browned. In a small bowl, mix together the diced onions, diced pickles, ketchup, and mayonnaise to make a sauce. Assemble the sliders by placing a cheesy patty on the bottom half of each bun, then spooning some of the sauce mixture over the patty. Top with the other half of the bun and secure with a toothpick. Serve hot, and enjoy your delicious cheese sliders!
