Kagome (and Sanda), Victories Thunder
Magic on Tataku is granted by avatars of natural forces. Avatars are bestowed to mortals by the King of Tataku. Every five hundred years the Go Seiki Tournament is held to crown a new king, a title Kagome covets dearly. Denied an avatar at berth; she freed an ancient storm spirit named Sanda and entered the tournament. Kagome and Sanda bonded quickly and learned all they could from each victory and defeat. She fought to prove her worth, that she and all that were denied avatars were still worthy. The final battle nearly cost her her life, but she emerged victorious. As the power of the King flowed into her, she changed in another way and planeswalked for the first time. But she emerged in another’s kingdom, and she was forced into the service of Queen Beatrice.
Sanda grants Kagome power in combat and can increase her strength and speed many times over. He can shift into a large battle form Kagome often uses as a mount. Sanda can also create lightning, and Kagome has worked that into her sword techniques.
