@mike_vedua reunited with #TataUsteng , his patron saint and namesake (his second name is Augusto because he was born on August 28th, St. Augustine’s feast day). It was one of Tata Usteng’s robes that my MIL brought to be draped over Mike and used as a blanket when he was hospitalized for a then-unknown illness. She knew that Tata Usteng’s miraculous favours could help him get healed. Shortly thereafter, he was finally diagnosed with a lethal combination of dengue and typhoid and was treated correctly. No doubt Tata Usteng’s intercession helped him recover completely. (at Holy Cross Parish ( Noveleta , Cavite ))
