I hate love triangles in shows and movies where the main character is obviously gonna pick x because it's always been x and it will always be x
I think those kind of love triangles are boring and useless since for me The best part about a love traingle is the part where me as a viewer genuinely don't know who the mc gonna pick and how both persons have their pros and cons so both persons have a fair chance to end up with the mc
Because some movies & tv shows make these perfect boys that if they ends up with the mc they would have a very healthy relationship and expect me as a viewer to believe the mc will pick the person she has been with from the start who is in most cases an asshole and their relationship is so toxic just because she loves him or whatever
I hate it also because it has been done to death already in the media like in to all the boys p.s i still love you, the kissing booth 2 even after 2
Also it makes me dislike the mc and see her as a selfish person since she already knows how she feels about both boys and is leading the other person on instead of telling him from the start that they will never be together and that she has feelings for someone else already
i wanna tie that up with the tv show the summer i turned pretty, i know in the books belly ends up with conrad but in the tv show they already changed many things from the books so they have a chance to escape that cliche or fall into it like the other movies i mentioned And i would love for her to end up with Jeremiah or even cam cameron
