her back hit the soft mattress beneath them as she tried to catch her breath. it didn’t take long until she leaned forward and pressed a kiss to his cheek, then rested her head in the crook of his neck. her friendly meetings with phoenix usually helped her get some things off her mind and maybe relax for a little bit. she had been stressed out since they started filming and she was grateful now that he was here. chanel could only hope that his presence here won’t make things even more.. difficult. there was already enough going on in her love life, way too many persons that made everything complicated, and even though they both agreed that there were absolutely no strings attached, she couldn’t help but wonder what will happen after people start to figure them out. because it was only a matter of time. one comment or even one look could give it away and she didn’t want to make this hard for him. she didn’t want to be a burden. “ so.. ” she whispered, fingertips tracing the tattoos on his chest. “ when will you schedule me in for a new tattoo? ” she tried to lighten up the mood a little bit and mostly hide every negative thought that went through her mind.

do you regret hooking up with Phoenix

“ nah, i could never regret anything that has to do with him ( @tattedhart ). i just wish things were slightly different, ‘cause i didn’t want to hurt anyone in the process, so if there is anything i’d change, i’d ask a few more questions if possible, even though it’d make both of us uncomfortable. anyway, i care about him a lot and he’s still my ride or die. ”

“ that’s uh.. oddly specific. and intimate. and i’m not going to answer the first part of your question, i’m sorry. why would i miss him? i see him ( @tattedhart ) on a daily basis, he’s my best friend. but yes, sometimes, we both get busy, but we still text each other a lot. ”

it was not like she didn’t expect this, they both knew what they were getting themselves into, but she chose to see this as a power move, rather than a petty one. a big fuck you to the media, to be more specific. but that didn’t make it easier for her. all the eyes were on them and she could hear them whispering as they passed by. she felt like a wild animal, surrounded by hunters. “ please don’t leave my side, ” she murmured, tugging his jacket. she knew she had to play it cool, but the high level of anxiety she had made it almost impossible. don’t let them know, she told herself and took a deep breath, trying to act as if it didn’t bother her at all.
