When Holy opened the door to her residence, she toddled off, leaving the girl to sort herself out, at least until she would return. She had been rather excitable over the phone, eager to invite her over to gift her something she’d been holding on to for a while. She just hoped that Kana liked it -- and didn’t get so overwhelmed!

The sounds of general shuffling and clattering came from the study room, with odd noises of books and bits and pieces before a soft ‘ahah’ broke through it all. Something that sounded like a box slid out and indeed, when Holy emerged and beamed at Kana, she was holding one.

“I can’t say everything is there,” she confesses as she approaches her, setting the box on her lap when she sat next to her. “ -- I tried to get a few similar brands to the ones I saw in your schoolbag, but I might have gotten a little, um.. carried away..”

Her sentence made much more sense when she lifted the lid of the box, revealing art supplies galore. Ink pens, traditional colouring sets, vials of ink in various shades, charcoal and chalk -- it seemed Holy hadn’t actually known what to get, so she simply.. got what was marked as an ‘art supply.’

Your writing style is so gOSH DANG VISUAL (and sensorial, if that makes sense). I often have to step back and slowly piece the scene together as I read (tho that's mostly bc I have one braincell) but as soon as it is pieced together there's so much character involved, not just the actions of the muse, but the environment as well!!! It's just as amazing as when we met, dude!!

What is the most noticeable thing about my writing style?

   Wes would call this a standoff if he ever had a gun to begin with.    Outdone by a cat. The cat. The one that seemed to be Kana’s second-in-command, eerily in tune with the goings-on. It stands guard like the warden of its own makeshift prison aboard the Nomad. He moves; it yowls. And the restraints round his neck, wrists, ankles… he ain’t seen nothing like them. Some kind of energy chain with the promise of a good walloping if he acts out. It’s a great time to be a convict.    "Kiddo, I’ll be real with you,” he starts, and he can see her pacing in the corner of his compound eye, “iffin you manage t’turn me in, I wouldn’t have it any other way.” Very sentimental of him. He pauses, reconsiders. She don’t have him just yet. “Course, I’d rather y’ not at all. Only sayin’ I never met a hunter quite like ya. Been a real honor barely escapin’ with my life.”   He wonders if she’s sick of this. Sick of his godawful honesty. You couldn’t make Wesley Valke lie to her even if she threatened to toss him headlong into the void. Aside from the circuit, he can’t think of anything more thrilling than a run-in with her.      The cat starts to pad toward him. Oh lord. “Just do me a favor ‘n’ make sure your hungry li’l pardners don’t take me for no snack.”

    Situational. He likes to go out for the most part, but if his partner prefers a night in he’ll probably defer to them. Of course, there’s also times when they both want to be alone together, wink wink nudge nudge, but sometimes a quiet evening in is nice.

💗 : Would your muse prefer a large, public proposal, or do they prefer a small, private one?

    He wouldn’t mind proposing in a public place (like outdoors), but it’d have to be off to the side or in an area with few to no people. Similar to his stance on weddings, he doesn’t think proposals are things anyone should see.
