Who said Shopping was Fun? - (Scott)
Pushing his hand into his pocket, the other gripping the steering wheel so they didn't crash, Stiles fished around for the scrap of notebook paper he had put in there earlier that day, finding it after a moments panicked fear of not having actually put it in there to start with. “Aright. I put together a list of things we need, in order of importance. Obviously we’re not going to find all of it, and I've probably not put everything we need down, but it’s a start.” the list wasn't huge, yet it had items ranging from batteries for their handheld torches, to condoms. Yeah. He wasn't so sure if anybody would be needing them any time soon, - he certainly wouldn't, his virgin title was bound to stick with him to the death. - but unsafe sex happened in zombie shows and movies all the time, and it always ended horribly, and it always got one of more of the party members killed. It was just one massive bad idea. He handed the list over to Scott so he could read through it, without taking his eyes off of the road. Even if they were driving slow, he was not ramming his Jeep into a zombie.
Hopefully their trip would be quick and simple, - find a good store or two, get what they needed, and get out, without any major zombie run-ins. Not only did they have one of the cars with them, which could prove valuable to the rest of the group, but it didn't feel right leaving them back at the temp night house for too long. At least they still had the bank car, just in case they needed to make a speedy get-away. Finding a good clear space beside the pavement, Stiles pulled the Jeep to a stop, reaching over to grab his bat from the back seat, holding it tightly and turning to face his bro. “You ready, buddy?”
