Well yesterday was a slow day, as most of the recent days have been, so Bear decided he wanted to tattoo me since I pointed out that I really liked one of his pre-drawn flash designs. A cat skull and roses, naturally. This was such a great learning experience. I was able to watch up close, the entire process and how he blended color and utilized his various needle tips. Normally i wouldn’t be able to get quite that close on a client.  But Bear also played around with the idea of letting me tattoo some fruit beforehand so that might be coming up in the next few days.  Sadly today the roads on the Northshore are flooded everywhere due to a crazy amount of rainfall so I’m stuck at my friend Erica’s house until the water goes down. I really wanted to be at the shop today because weekends are the busy days. alas, I will stay here and read about tattoo machines and learn some more stuff about them.
