Surprise ! Not many of you know this but I actually have a BFA in fine arts, which means I studied photography mostly analogue, 35mm, medium/large format ) for years as well as other mediums: painting , wood working, welding, philosophy ect! Despite having taken thousands of portraits and nudes, I only felt comfortable behind the lens. This year I finally concurred a huge fear and said yes to modelling. It’s been a huge journey to get to this point in my life where I actually feel comfortable in my own body, and modelling has really helped and having a solid group of women in my life. I’ve had some hiccups along the way to sharing these photos, I’ve been publicly shamed/ “outted” by men in my industry for doing it, and it even drove me to have a separate personal Instagram account to feel comfortable posting pics of myself and my life for fear of not being taken seriously.
