#Artist @franklanatra So my client a ways back accidentally hit a Raccoon with her car and unable to live with the guilt we decided to memorialize this poor Raccoon in a little revenge scenario. Had a blast designing by and tattooing this piece. We did it over multiple sessions of 2-3 hours at a time. Was really able to layer in the colors and lighting. Love working like this!! Tattoo Healing Opinions

I got my very first tattoo in Paris, France. They sold their own tattoo healing kit which to what I remember has still been the best of what I have used up til now. My second tattoo I got at the very famous High Voltage Tattoo, they suggested aquaphor and antibacterial soap. After getting a few more new inkings I had used this method for quite sometime, one random night my guy and I thought to get some new ink together, as we got back home I didnt have any of my "normal" tattoo care so I went out with him to pick up something for the healing. We picked up a product by the name of Tattoo Goo which is the first of my review. Tattoo Goo is a whole kit it comes with a soap, a lotion, tattoo sun screen (I have yet to find out how this is different thatn other sunscreens) and an ointment. The soap was great though i have heard some say it burns the new tattoo, not the case with me. the lotion is so thin I hardly think it even works but I have yet to have an issue. The ointment has been lovely to me I still use it. The sun screen is a nice travel size but it feels aweful on the skin, but I still use it. All in all this stuff is great every tattoo I have used this on certainly looks brighter and bolder than tattoos used on my older methods then again the style is very different so I am certain that plays a role. Next up is Hustle Buttter I dont remember how I found it but while running low on tattoo goo and tired of how thin the lotion was I decided to switch over. I got this mid way through healing a new addition to my ink collection. Let me start with the smell it floral yet creamy? Beautiful smell. The beeswax in this helps it melt over new tattoos so you arent rubbing it into freshly stabbed skin, it actually melts like butter. It advertises to help tattoos heal more quickly but I can't rightly say that that is the case. My experience it makes the scabbing lessen and leaves the tattoo feeling very nice and not dry at all like tattoo goo had left me feeling whenever I was using the lotion. I was still using the tattoo goo cleaner at this time because that the best thing i have found for myself at this time. I am in LOVE with hustle butter I am so glad I got the larger pot of it and not the triaL size of it. Last but not least the newest addition to my tattoo healing, Tegaderm. There is saniderm and even tatuderm which is for tattoo care but he Nexacare Tegaderm did wonders for me. First off I am way too use the the whole get home sleep in the wrap given by the artist and in the morning clean and begin to use a lotion or cream. Well I left my newest tattoo to ooze for 2 days before applying the tegaderm something about the ooze being stuck under the bandage had me worried. So on day 2 I applied the tegaderm. and left it on, I didnt have to do anything to my tattoo but let it sit under the bandage for about 5 to 7 days. Well I lasted 2 days before I said nope I have to clean it, I am on my 22nd tattoo and just letting it sit felt so weird to me.. so i washed it and applied the tegaderm again because well I didnt have to baby it, I could have it rubbed against clothing with little pain, I was able to wear sleeves [as the new ink is on my upper arm] So after another 2 days I removed the tegaderm again and started to use the hustle butter. So far so good, only i will switch to saniderm or tatuderm because that comes in rolls and you cut your needed size and the tegaderm is predetermined sheets of this bandage. Sorry for the long information.
