Jade mun do you have any advice on helping with eating disorders?
hiiiii I know this wasn’t directed at me but seeing as I’m currently battling this I figured I’d give my insight.
1. there is this really cool app called Recovery Record and if you use it right it really helps, you can talk to clinicians and log your meals and stuff. It also reminds you to eat which is good!
2. Figure out a nutritional diet for yourself. Not a diet to loose weight but a healthy one to give you everything you need INCLUDING calories, but that your guilt won’t be too heavy from the stuff you eat. I recommend seeing a doctor/nutritionist if you can for this if you can’t RESEARCH and I’m always available to do my best to help
3. DO NOT OVER EXERCISE! only exercise if you have had the proper nutrition and are cleared by a doctor! you can deplete your body of already depleted nutrients.
4. TALK! Please! Don’t feel like you have to do this alone. Therapy is a great thing and you can always come to me too!
I hope that helped, you will get through this!
