Swedish and Finnish volunteers in the street fighting for Narva in 1919. This particular artillery piece from Martin Ekström’s free corps was the first to be employed against the city defenders, on 12 January 1919. The officer denoted with a “1” is Captain Åke Hedberg, with experience from the Swedish Brigade in Finland. Number “2” is First Lieutenant Tavenius. (H8D)
