Sunshine
This morning, on this day that is now night, I will never forget waking up to your face. My eyes had just opened in time to see your smile, with your eyes full of life. You woke me with a, “Good morning” and you said it in such a way that brought me so much peace.. I swear it was god working through you.. Your gleaming presence warmed my soul and to start a new day like this, I felt like I didn't deserve. I love you more than I could ever put into words.. And when I opened my eyes this morning, you were the only sunshine I saw.
