Why did Allah(s) not specify Ali (a) and his family by their names in the Book of Allah (s)?’
From abu Basir who has said the following:
“I asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a) about the words of Allah (s):
أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَ أَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَ أُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُم
‘Obey Allah and obey the Rasool and those in authority from among you..’ (4:59)
“The Imam (a) said, ‘This was sent from the heavens about Ali ibn abu Talib, al-Hassan and al-Husayn.’
I then said, ‘People say, “Why did He(s) notspecify Ali and his family by their names in the Book of Allah (s)?’
“The Imam (a) said, ‘Say to them, “The command for prayer cameto the Messenger of Allah but He has not specified (the number of the Rak‘ats) for them as being three or four. It was the Messenger of Allah who explained to them this matter. The command for Zakat (a form of income tax) came to the Messenger of Allah and there was no specific taxable numbersuch as one Dirham on every forty Dirham. It was theMessenger of Allah who explained it for them. The command for Hajj came to the Messenger of Allah. It did not say walkseven times around the Ka‘ba. It was the Messenger of Allah who explained it for them. The verse about obedience came,‘Obey Allah and obey the Rasool and those in authority from among you..’ (4:59) It came to declare that Ali, al-Hasan and al-Husayn, were the Leaders who possessed Divine Authority.
The Messenger of Allah then said about Ali,
مَنْ کُنْتُ مَوْلَاهُ فَعَلِيٌّ مَوْلَاه
‘Over whomever, I have Divine Authority, Ali, also has DivineAuthority over him.’
He also has said, ‘I bequeath you to follow theBook of Allah and my Ahl al-Bayt. It is because I have prayed toAllah, the Most Holy, the Most High, not to separate these two from each other until He will make them arrive at al-Kawthar to join me. He has granted my prayer as such.’
“The Holy Prophet hassaid, ‘Do not try to teach them (‘A’immah); they are far more knowledgeable than you.’
The Holy Prophet has said, ‘‘A'immah (a) will never take you out of the gate of guidance and they will never makeyou enter the gate of error.’
Had the Messenger of Allahremained silent and had not explained anything about his Ahl al-Bayt (the family) the family of so and so would have advancedtheir claim for Imamat.
However, Allah (azwj) has revealed it in His book to confirm the explanations of His Prophet aboutAhl al-Bayt,
إِنَّما يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنْكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَ يُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيراً
But rather, Allah Desires to Keep away the uncleanness from you, O people of the House! And to Purify you a with a Purification. (33:33) so it was Ali, al-Hassan and al-Husayn and Fatima and the HolyProphet made them enter under al-Kisa’ in the house of ’Umm Salama and then said, ‘O Lord, every prophethad a family and heaviness and credence, and these are my family, my heaviness and credence.’ Umm Salama at this point said, ‘Am I not of your family?’ The Holy Prophet said, ‘Youare in goodness but these are my family, my heaviness and credence.’
[Al Kafi, vol 1, pg 172].
(Quoted from lengthy narration)
After the martyrdom of Imam Al Husayn (as). The army jointly proceeded further to plunder the tents of the Progeny of the Prophet (sawaw) and the light of Zahra (sa)’s eyes, besides looting the veils of the ladies’ shoulders. The daughters of the Prophet (sawaw)’s family and his household (as) started wailing together and wept upon the loss of their associates and friends.
Hameed bin Muslim says that when a woman from (the family of) Bakr bin Wael, who was accompanying her husband, who was along with Umar bin Sa’ad (la) saw that the army had advanced towards the women’s tents while looting their veils, she pulled out a sword and turning towards the tents called out, “O family of Bakr! They are looting the daughters of the Prophet of Allah (sawaw). There is no judgment and no decree except with Allah! Arise to avenge the blood of the Prophet of Allah!” Hearing this, her husband seized her and took her away.
The ladies were drawn out of the tents and the tents were set on fire. The women of the Prophet (sawaw)’s family were bareheaded, bare-feet and marauded similar to the ones in captivity. They were disturbed and wandered while saying, “By Allah! Take us to the spot of the martyrdom of Husayn”.
When their sight fell upon the martyrs, they started wailing and beating their faces.
It is said: By Allah! I cannot forget that Zainab (sa), the daughter of Ali (as), wept upon Husayn (as) and called out in a grievous voice, “O Muhammad, salutations of the heavenly angels upon you! This is Husayn, who has fallen down with body smeared in blood and bodily components cut asunder, while your daughters have been captivated. I complain to Allah! And also to Muhammad Mustafa (sawaw)! And Ali Murtaďa (as)! And Fatemah Zahra (sa)! And Hamza, the Master of Martyrs! O Muhammad (sawaw)! This is Husayn, who has fallen down in the desert, while the wind is gasping upon him, and he is killed at the hands of the illegitimate ones. O griefs! O trials! Today my grandfather the Prophet of Allah (sawaw) has departed from the world! O companions of Muhammad (sawaw)! Come and behold the Progeny of Mustafa (sawaw) being seized similar to the captives”
Say [ O Muhammad]: “No reward do I ask of you for this except the love of those near of kin.” [42:23]
.
May Allah curse omar and abu bakr then yazid and his father, also those who name their kids after yazid for his bravery. May Allah curse and insult all those who celebrate Ashura the day when Al Husayn (as) was killed brutally.
Narrated to us ibn Mahbub from Yahya kawkab al-Dam who has narrated the following :
Abu Abdullah (asws) having said that: ‘The disciples of Isa (as) were his (as) Shites, and that our (asws) Shites are our (asws) disciples and the disciples of Isa (as) were not more obedient to him (as) than our (asws) Shites are to us (asws).
But rather, Isa (as) said to the disciples: “[3:52] Who will be my helpers in Allah's way? The disciples said: We are helpers (in the way) of Allah”.
So No, by Allah (azwj), none from the Jews helped him (as) nor did they fight for him as. And our (asws) Shites, by Allah (azwj) since Allah (azwj) Captured the Rasool Allah (saw) has never ceased to help us (asws) and they fought for us (asws) and they were burnt, and tortured, and displaced in the cities. May Allah (azwj) recompense them goodly from us (asws).
And Amir-ul- Momineen (asws) has said: ‘By Allah (azwj)! Even if I (asws) were to strike the noses of those who love us (asws) with the sword, they will not hate us (asws) and by Allah (azwj) if I (asws) were to approach those that hate us (asws) and urge them by the wealth they will still not love us (asws) ’

𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐦 𝐉𝐚𝐟𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐪ع : Those who hearts ache for Usع will be pleased at seeing Usع at the time of their deaths in such a way that the pleasure will remain in their hearts until they meet Usع by the Pool on the Day of Judgment.
Al Kauthar will be delighted when one of Ourع lovers come to it and will serve him various kinds of food to such an extent the lover of Ahlul Baytع will never wish to leave from the side of al Kauthar.
O’ Misma! Those who drink—even if it is but a single sip from al Kauthar—will never feel thirst again and will never again ask for another drink. It is as cold as camphor, as fragrant as musk, and as tasty as ginger. It is sweeter than honey, softer than butter, more pure than a tear and more aromatic than ambergris. It emerges from Tasneem and passes through the rivers of Jannah where it flows over a riverbed made of pearl and corundum. The number of jugs in it is greater than the number of stars in the sky and these jugs are made from gold, silver, and various kinds of gems.
Its (al Kauthar) fragrance can be smelled from a distance of one thousand years and such fantastic fragrances emanate from it onto the face of anyone who drinks from it until they say, “I long to remain here always. I do not need anything other than this. I do not wish to leave from this spot.”
O’ son of Kirdin! You will be amongst those whose thirst will be quenched by it and everyone whose eyes shed tears for Usع will be blessed by looking at al Kauthar and will be given a drink from it.
The desires of those who love Usع will be more than satisfied with an abounding pleasure and the ones who love Usع greatly will find the water from the pool of al Kauthar to be more delicious than those whose love for Usع is less.
Ameerul Momineenع will be standing by the Pool of al Kauthar with a stick made from boxthorn. With it, Heع will destroy Ourع enemies in such a way that one from Ourع enemies will say “I testify there is no god except Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.”
Ameerul Momineenع will reply, “Go to your leader such and such and ask him to intercede for you.”
The man will reply, “My leader, the one mentioned by you, has disassociated himself from me.”
Ameerul Momineenع will reply, “Go back and ask the one whom you used to love, follow, and preferred above the rest of creation to intercede for you since he was the best of creation in your eyes for only the best of the creation is able to intercede!”
The man will say, “I am dying from thirst.”
Ameerul Momineenع will reply, “May Allah increase your thirst and your desire for water.”
I (Narrator) asked, “May I be sacrificed upon You! How is this enemy even able to come close to the Pool of al Kauthar when others are not?”
Imamع replied, “He refrained from hideous acts and refrained from the insulting of us [Ahlul Baytع]. When Weع were mentioned in his presence, he would avoid certain acts, which others were committing. But none of his abstaining was due to his following Usع or loving Usع. Rather it was due to his diligence in worship and performing religious acts. For he preferred being occupied by these things instead of speaking with others.
The heart of such a person is filled with hypocrisy and his religion is based upon the hatred of Usع, following those who incite hatred against Usع, believing in the two caliphs from the past, and giving preference to them above all others.”
