Awesome, am I?  Well that's relative.  But the ritual for awesomeness involves a thyrsus, some rhubarb, cowboy boots, an assortment of toxic dyes, and last but not least, the entirety of Electric Light Orchestra's "Time" album.  That should get you started, but don't try it under a new moon or you might turn into a were-dachshund.  Not pleasant.

Hmm.  Cats.  I sort of tolerate them.  I had a cat growing up - we found him wandering around in a pile of leaves in our front yard - and he's still wandering around in the yard this very moment.  I just babysat two of my friend's cats and they're very sweet.  But even the sweetest, cutest cat just doesn't do that... I don't know.... that "I LOVE THIS ANIMAL" thing that most slobbery, stupid dogs bring out in me.  I wonder what that's all about; the cat person versus dog person thing.  Maybe I should write another essay...
