In the interest of full disclosure I went on a bad writing ride with the final season of Gran Hotel, too. (And elements of S1 and S2, to be brutally honest.) Shit must have been falling apart behind the scenes and with the death of one of their S2 actors and executive meddling because some of those plot-holes are beyond ridiculous.
