Boom SonShadAmy/Sonadamy rambles

Ight that Boom sonshadAmy post is getting blown up kind of so I thought I should explain the dynamics of them and what each part of the relationship looks like.

SonAmy

Sonic and Amy are not so secretly secretly dating. They both like to sass each other but they do clearly love each other. I mainly am basing them off my mom and stepdad because they act rude to one another but actually love each other. Been dating for a solid 2+ years now and Sonic still hasn't popped the question. Was the one who made Sonic's bandanna. Sonic will crash at her place sometimes but he usually sleeps at his beach house thing. Both looked at shadow and was like "I wanna date him" and they made it a race as to who can get him first.

ShadAmy

Shadow and Amy are a lot more tame. Shadow still broods a lot but that is because Amy yoinked him out of his cave and made him live with her (still figuring out why). Amy can backtalk him without fear of getting punched. She is the one who wears the nonexistent pants in the relationship and Shadow listens reluctantly. Regardless Shadow has cuteness aggression towards her which just ends up with him squishing her face. Should mention that she won the race into getting Shadow to date her first before Sonic was able to.

Sonadow

Sonic and Shadow had the longest time getting together just due to Shadow's hatred of Sonic. Very similar to his relationship with Amy just this time he has a grumpy hedgehog instead. Him and Shadow watch reality TV together for fun once dating. They play fight more often than not after the first while of being together. They are literally ADHD (sonic) vs Austism (shadow) and sometimes their special interests line up and they can end up talking about something for hours on end.

SonShadAmy dynamics

Shadow is stuck with two sassy hedgehogs that he ends up loving oh so very much (no matter how much he wants to punch Sonic). Still the most reserved out of all 3 but has slowly calmed down with Sonic and Amy's help. Also if all 3 decide to share a bed (which is rare) he gets stuck in the middle with the other two cuddling him. He gets uncomfortable sometimes which means he just turns over onto his stomach and then can sleep. Sonic is the most affectionate behind closed doors ironically (he hates PDA). He gets in trouble for being too messy but has slowly been getting better. Gets all 3 of them into trashy TV dramas or game shows. Actually has the best movie taste whenever new movies reach the island. Amy is the one who mainly cooks just because it is her house and Shadow ends up helping after a few months of staying there and learns how to make edible meals after not knowing how to cook. Both boys get on her nerves sometimes and they get in trouble for it. Shares a hobby with both of them with Shadow's being dancing and Sonic's actually being reading.

Saw your Dyle art and was curious what do the flowers mean if they meant anything at all?

The flowers do have meanings! I chose them specifically for Dyle based off the comic and why Fly said in an ask! Flower meanings as following (will expand upon)

Yellow rose - friendship Marigold - Pain and grief/ Life and Death White Catch fly - Betrayal Purple Hyacinth - Grief and sorrow/Please forgive me

Detailed Flower explanations (panels belong to MOTM):

Yellow rose - friendship

Dyle stated that he was made to serve and not be friended in the downtime train part of the comic. Thats when Bends comes in and say's he'll be his friend.

By this I could assume that Dyle was excited to have his first real friend that doesn't treat him like an outcast (using the word lightly). Bendy is someone who will talk about trains with him and offered him friendship upon hearing that others may not be.

White Catch fly (I used the wrong photo while drawing)- Betrayal

Yikes, this one can speak for itself. Bendy himself proceeds to betray Dyle by kicking the connector to the train apart. Dyle at the same time is reaching out to Bendy for help.

Dyle has been betrayed by his only friend. The person that just a few minutes ago said they'd be his friend.

Marigold (again I didn't do good drawing it)- Pain and grief / Life and Death

Now Marigolds have different meanings depending on the culture surrounding them. Most commonly are they associated with the connotation of life and death. Although Dyle doesn't die here yet, he becomes into a giant "monster" who is in pain. Also could be interpreted ad Dyle mourning the loss of a sudden friendship. Honestly this one can be taken in may directions. I'm taking it in the direction of Dyle is stuck between life and death in this newfound body he is stuck in.

Purple Hyacinth - Grief and sorrow/Please forgive me

Similar to Marigolds, they symbolize grief and sorrow but at the same time they're asking for forgiveness. From this ask, it's stated that Dyle is in pain and he needs to reach his friend. I'm taking this a small step further with the artistic idea of Dyle not knowing what he did to cause Bendy to leave him to "die". He's asking for forgiveness to Bendy for something he may have done wrong. He doesn't realize that Bendy left him to die out of his own selfish reasons (I'm calling the actions selfish even though I know Bendy's goal is to survive at whatever it takes. If it meant killing Dyle, so be it.)

So overall the flowers represent the new found friendship he had with Bendy, the betrayal of said friendship, him being caught between life and death, and then him asking for forgiveness.

If you ever see flowers in my art, assume it has some type of symbolism behind it. I rarely put flowers willy-nilly without a reason. Also don't trust me to accurately draw flowers so feel free to ask about flowers for clarity.

Wait LCS was originally a Bendystraw Au? The hell happened?

Originally it was a Bendystraw Au when I first conceived of the idea of them being lovers seperated by time. Yeah that lasted a day or two before I pulled Moth into the project and scrapped a majority of the lore for that section in favor of telling a story more suited towards horror and both respective games as a whole. If you want more of the original lore go bother @mommy-moth for more info.

Honestly the two of them could have ended up together if Bendy went to therapy. Sadly it didn't play out that way and so they're not together in canon. Maybe in another life they could've been something but not this one.
